Not all acrylic elastomeric coatings (acrylic coating) are are the same.  They vary by the amount of solids in them.  They range from 50% to 60% solids.  The more solids coatings have the thicker they are and the less needs to be applied therefore less gallons used.  It may cost you less to get the same thickness with a higher solids content coating than a lower solids content coating.

In order to have the best adhesion to the substrate we use a variety of primers.  Primers are also used in order to help cure the product on to the substrate and prevent blisters and problems with adhesion to the substrate.

We use the highest quality and industrial grade acrylic elastomeric coatings, primers, and other products manufactured locally by UCSC.

Acrylic Elastomeric Coatings: 

	AZ Heatshield (50% solids by volume).
	Durashield II acrylics have earned the ENERGY STAR® rating due to their high reflectivity, which provides buildings with better energy efficiency (60% solids by volume).  See pictures of this product in action here.

	Solar Gain for built-up roofing
	Tie Coat for rusted metal (ferrous) such as barn, trailer, or mobile home roofs
	Dura Poxy for metal (non-ferrous)
	Dura Prep for single-ply EPDM

Biodegradable industrial detergent:

Dura Clean is used to wash off the dust, dirt, and grim from the roof in order to preserve the reflectance or to prepare the roof for the recoating process.  See pictures of this in action here.
